Summer is just around the corner and with the temperatures already in the 80's and sprinting toward the 90's around here images of the beach and hot male bodies have been invading my thoughts more and more. So today let's head for the water and do a little site seeing, shall we? 

There's nothing like setting on the beach with the sun warm on your skin and sipping on a cool drink while guy gazing?

Oh come on now you know you've done it!

How sexy is a hunky guy coming out of the water dripping wet? Well, maybe his dip in the ocean cooled him off from the heat but the sight of him rachets up my temperature. Really fires up the imagination making that tiny bit of cloth between you and his cool wet flesh the enemy, huh? 

After a day of guy gazing in the sun, there's nothing like spending the evening poolside and a moonlight swim. But doesn't it always seem that there this one guy that grabs your attention? There's just something about him,right? His eyes, his smile or his tight butt maybe?
     And really, what's so wrong with a little vacation romance?

But let's face it, we can't always get to the beach or pool so the next best thing to cool off a bit while still heating things up?  That's right, the shower silly! Hey, water is water...and what does it really matter the source anyway when there's a hot guy around willing to share???

Exerpt: 
Ty ran his warm hands over her. "You cold, baby?"

"Just a little chill where I worked up a sweat."

Ty stood still holding her. "I have something for you." He looked down into her quizzical gaze. "Just bear with me, okay? I was gonna’ surprise you when you first got here but you went into that sexy ass dance and I kinda’ lost my train of thought."

"You know I’m not too crazy about surprises." She locked her legs around his waist.

"You’ll like this. Trust me."

"You did not just say trust me?" Catherine nipped his ear lobe lightly between her teeth before laying her head on his shoulder. Inhaling deeply she took in his scent. Damn he smelled good. It amazed her how comfortable she was with Ty. They just…fit. Like the way her bottom fit perfectly in his big, strong hands.

Ty nudged open the bedroom door. He stopped in the center of the room and slowly turned allowing her full view of their surroundings.

"Surprise, baby."

The room was filled with candles. Rose petals floated in the massive tub. The fragrance of bath oils mingled with tiny clouds of steam filling the space with their scent. A silver tray sat beside the tub filled with chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne and two glasses. Chopin played softly in the background.

"Oh, Ty," was all she could get out. The thoughtfulness of the gesture overwhelmed her. This man known by so many for his ruthless acts had actually put rose petals in the tub and remembered her favorite composer. A single tear escaped the corner of her eye and slid down her cheek. "When did you have time for all this?"

"I got here a little early," he shrugged.

Catherine loosed her legs from around his waist and slid down his muscular six foot frame.

To the rest of the world he was Tyrese Jackson, gang leader, tough guy, thug. But to her he was Ty, her man, her heart. She ran her thumb along his jaw line.

"Baby, you amaze me."

She leaned forward, trailing her tongue across his plump bottom lip. The tip of her tongue teased at the seam of his mouth, coaxing his to come out. His lips parted as his tongue snaked through. Catherine drew it into her mouth and gently sucked. A low moan escaped from deep within Ty’s chest igniting a spark and warmth again puddled between her legs.

Ty reached down and hooked her right leg bringing her foot up to rest on the side of the tub. His thumb brushed against swollen flesh as he stroked her sex before sinking two fingers inside her. He lowered his head and sucked on her hard round nipple as he caressed her sensitive nub.

His free hand slid behind her back, supporting her as her lids drifted closed and her head fell back. She cried out and swayed against him.

Catherine felt the hardness of Ty’s need against her belly as he kissed her. She turned around, bending over she placed her hands on the tub spreading her legs in silent invitation...

Let's talk Inspiration...Men of May Bloghop

Since the topic of this bloghop is Men...one of my very favorite subjects...I thought I would share some of the hotties that inspire me.

I really don't have a type when it comes to men so there really is no telling what will trip my trigger after all they say 'variety is the spice of life.'

One guy might have a great set of eyes...you know the kind you could just get lost in.

Then again, it might be the hair. Really, what hot blooded woman wouldn't want to run her fingers through that hair...or even give it a few tugs***WINK, WINK***

Or maybe it could just be the attitude...one of those men that exudes the god given gift of manliness!

But then again, I am only human so I can't leave out the appeal of the overall sexiness of a confident man. The kinda man that has the looks, charm and romantic side is a find indeed...the sexy ass voice is just an added bonus.

Catherine Sinclair is a Lawyer from a well to do family with high society connections. She's spent her life focusing on her career and trying to make her father proud by becoming a partner at his firm.

Tyrese Jackson is a thug from the hood and leader of the most powerful gang on the south side.

I am so excited to be a judge for the Swirl awards!!! Since I love variety in my men this is such a great opportunity to read some of the best writers of interracial/multicultural novels. So if you haven't yet, get your nominations in...deadline is May 1, 2012. 

 THE SWIRL AWARDS, to recognize and promote excellence in romance within the multicultural/interracial genre.     
      So of course, all books are welcome regardless of race, nationality, gender or sexual orientation of the main characters. However, one of the main characters must be a person of color.

      Fantasy/Futuristic/Paranormal     
      Historical     
      Inspirational     
      Romantic Suspense     
      Short Novella (10,000-20,000 words)     
      All heat levels from erotic to sweet are welcome. But if for some reason, there are fewer than four nominees in a given category, that category will be eliminated from the competition. Entry into the contest is free.
